The metro entrance at Rotterdam Central around rush hour. Still not really busy … working from home is the norm for the coming period!
A daily dose of Rotterdam since august 2019
Dark, cold but I took this picture just for you! A tiger on the square in front of the station! Why? Because the whole of Rotterdam is devoted to film for twelve days during the largest film festival of the year. There are 500 films to choose from, but also all kinds of parties, talks, Q & As, exhibitions and concerts, something for everyone. When? From Wed Jan 22 2020 – Sun 2 Feb. 2020. More info: iffr.com
This is not someone who wishes everybody love for Rotterdam but a shopsign on the central station of Rotterdam! This shop sells all kind of stuff connected to or with Rotterdam, hats, calendars etc. you name it! No advertising just a tip for visitors! And the most valuable of Rotterdam is unfortunately not for sale, myself! 🙂
I took this picture a few days ago, the stairs up to the square in front of Rotterdam Centraal, the public transport hub of Rotterdam. Trains, metro, busses and trams, all there to find. Last days of the summer holidays so still no crowds! I like the tranquility here. Have a nice weekend all!
P.S. And I know, stairs are going down too, to the metro and train platforms 🙂
